Jason Blair: The OJ Simpson of Reporters.

If you remember Jayson Blair, the reporter from the New York Times whose found to be writing and reporting greatly exaggerated, if not completely false, stories. He promptly quit after the scandals started to be seen by public eyes.

Well, he's making news once again, now as a life coach for people with bi-polar disorders. I want to say that this is definitely a great thing, as he suffers from bi-polar disorder himself, but I'm not sure if I want to.

Should we really forget all the things that he lied about in a newspaper for one good deed? What if OJ Simpson started being a Big Brother to a few orphans? He'd still be known as a murderer (albeit not a convicted one).

The point is that while what Jayson Blair is doing is good, it makes him no less than OJ Simpson.

I suppose on the flip side that it is good that he is able to use his effective communication skills to make others do things. Kind of like the guy in the White Bronco, right?
